The Brand

Etelle is a jewelry brand founded in 2026 in Paris, France, by Minseo Kim, a Korean-born designer based in Paris. Etelle views jewelry not as mere adornment, but as a being and a story in itself, embedding a unique universe and narrative into each creation.

Etelle’s philosophy begins with the question, “Et-elle? – And she?” In French, elle is a pronoun that can refer both to a person and to an object. By continuing this question, Etelle blurs the boundary between people and objects, discovering the inherent beauty of existence itself and expressing the stories that dwell within through jewelry.

The Founder & Designer

Minseo Kim majored in fine art sculpture in Korea before studying jewelry design at the Haute École de Joaillerie in Paris, where she cultivated both artistic sensibility and philosophical depth. Her career began with the Hermès High Jewelry Design Team, where she experienced the world of high jewelry and custom-made creations, gaining an understanding of the essence of creation—infusing jewelry with narrative as a one-of-a-kind work of art.

During this time, some of the pieces she contributed to were released as part of the Hermès High Jewelry 2024 Collection, an experience that solidified her conviction in the brand’s vision of jewelry as art Building on these experiences, she continues to weave a unique story and universe into each creation through Etelle, shaping a distinctive brand identity.
